Some flavours take a lifetime to get right.
Ours took three.
Lauk began the way most Malaysian food stories do — at someone's table. We spent years learning, building, and yes, failing. A pandemic closed our kitchens. What it couldn't close was the conviction that Malaysian food deserves better.
So we came back. Not with a kitchen. With a jar.
